Darkaysen, a dark rainy night. A warm breeze shuffles between the skyscrapers, howling softly. It's a calm night and Cinnam is on the roof of a central power generator; for that night she has to protect the second power cell (there are two power generators). Boss asked her personally since a mysterious figure harmed seven guards before her, everyone was deeply wounded. He was distressed, near The Festival the worst "rats" comes out of the sewers and starts a bloody, silent, war with police and guards. She's looking mindlessly over the crowded horizon, covered in smog and neon signs. It used to be gorgeous, the sea could be seen from afar, dark as the fate people encounter here. (It used to be beautiful, until some big unnerving company decided to cover part of the sky with his ugly signs).
She sighted. Her father's conditions got worse, and even if she has two jobs, she couldn't fully pay his medical bills, while her mother, jobless for two months, tries to find it; but nowadays, no one accept humans, and no one want to "care" over some "defenseless being".
She's in her mind, zoning out, thinking if Majey finished to repair that motorcycle.
Her eyes moved over the small figures on the streets, someone was selling fresh Omkels. (a typical sweet of Darkaysen, only here can make it well, no one knows why.)
A crackly metallic sound comes from behind, she turns, no one's there. She's suspicious.
Cinnam: Someone's there?! Any, Is that you? *She standing, leaning to the railing* does some steps forward, near the blueish powerplant sphere, floating at the centre of the building. A distinguishable silhouette comes out of the dark, proceeding elegantly. A metallic clink follows it.
The strange figures emerges completely, and a tall, leaning male skeleton headed being stands still, looking at her. She knew He was "The Rat" her boss was talking about.
????(Skullex): Gibberish in Oojathi, with a profound voice. It seems like a code or password. stands still for some seconds,in silence.Cinnam: .... *Takes out her blades* "I don't know what tf you just said" proceeds towards him " But I can guarantee I'm not your mole...."
Synchis is sitting in a dark alley, on a dumpster, after his horrible shift at the club. He's still wearing the pink bodysuit, with a hand-knitted cardigan, that covers his shoulders and the chip they planted in him is flashing slowly with a soft, white light. He doesn't feel cold anymore, he's used to it, he has to wear that kind of clothes everyday. *Another horrid day....* sighted. He's waiting for his friends. (While some people, that passed-by, did some questionable comments with "slut" "ugly bitch" and "I would fuck him if I had the money" in them. He's used to this too). His eyes are hollow,as his expression, he dissociates, without thinking. "Hey !!!!" It's Ayve, with her blue hair, and happy attitude. He wonders how someone could be so happy, in this world full of shit. She starts talking about her work on her friend's network, and an apartment She and Flamer considered buying on a website. It was outside the Lust, in Red Hill. (It would be good for both Any and Flamer, since they're lucky and still studying, and they would be nearer him). "How's it going?" She looks at his face, noticing bruises on his shoulders and love bites on the neck; She can't get used to it. She sighted, opened her harms and nodded to him, He, swiftly hugged her tightly, sinking into her fluffy hair, some tears falls but not sound *Rougher than usual* whispered her *Y-Yea....*. Meanwhile Flamer arrived with a bottle of vibrant brew and fastfood.
He sits next to Synchis. The dumpster squeaks for the weight.
They're having a good time, a bit saddening when Synchis express his frustration and desperation about the club, the psycho, owner of the place, and his parents; disowning him and calling him, (with a "phone system" that I have to think about), so many times during the week that not even a stalker would do that. (They always ask him what happened, he usually hints something new every time, and they're profoundly disgusted with that. He doesn't talk too much though, he doesn't want to destroy the mood with that "kind" of stories.).
All of this because he, actually, has an "heart" and wishes for a total failure for his dad's twisted business.
Meanwhile, they moved on to the top of the building, a thin rain started, but they're happy. Laughs scatters through the air. Flamer did the usual stupid joke without any sense and choked on his saliva, Ayve is crying of laughter, while Synchis is rolling on the floor. Suddenly a blueish explosion occurred on a power plant, they stopped and looked at the trail of smoke, in the distance.
Meanwhile Kina is singing a blues piece "Darling, I dreamed the night I lost you '' at The Jade. She's enchanting the crowd with her voice, even Eclipse is there, chatting with some, probable, future victims and listening to her; she's the only one that can calm her nerves. Kina's hitting the few lines remaining when the lights got dimmer, the explosion happened. Through the general panic (the bar/club is part of a tall building, the power plant is visible and near) Eclipse understood what happened, maybe something went wrong with his, obsessively,loved Skullex and everything didn't go as usual. She rushes outside and calls for his driver.
Cinnam is dodging every punch, but unfortunately some of them hits her stomach, while she's cutting the enemy's clothes. What kind of being is that? An android? No It couldn't be, also why He does have such strange ears?! Also, that pointy mechanical legs? What?! She's over him punching his face, really hard. He sprays something that blinds her. She's half standing/crawling when he started pushing her towards the broken glass edge, Cinnam, didn't want to die, in a panic move, before he could push her into the void, she throws a knife into the sphere, a strong explosion happens, She and him are thrown away. She flew over the edge. Majey with the repaired motorcycle were flewing by, sometimes happens she gets bored and visits her friend, even if she shouldn't, fortunately she catched on the fly Cinnam. She helped her sitting.
She was lucky.... so luck.
Skullex flew down the building. Bounced over and over, until reached the ground where Eclipse was waiting for him. "WHAT HAPPENED!" eclipse was furious "We NEEDED that cyberspace in the electrical company system...." "Madam I had a mishap, I can fix tha-...." NO NO no non nnonoo.... listen carefully my beautiful [ strange nickname ] we have lost enough time with this kind of missions.... Ore call Any, we need more people here."
